Dogashima hot spring area is where the best accommodations are gathered on the west coast of the Izu Peninsula. We have various types of accomodations such as large hotels with swimming pools and outdoor baths, cozy inns with homely atmospheres, and seaside camping grounds for the adventurous.
Different types of accommodations
In Nishiizu we have a large variety of accommodation. You can choose between large resort hotels, Japanese-style ryokans, small inns, or campsites. One unique accommodation is an abolished school which was renovated to become an inn - bound to be an unforgettable holiday experience.
Japanese-style futons, or Western-style beds?
Our hotels and facilities are mostly equipped with both Japanese-style futons and western-style spring beds. Choose futons for a truly authentic Japanese experience, or beds, if you prioritize your comfort.
Hotel meals
In Japan, it is recommended that you try to have your dinner in the hotel at least once to taste the rare specialties in season. Buffet style hotel breakfast is also popular in Nishiizu.
Extra services
For people who prefer to swim in pools as compared to in the sea, some hotels in Nishiizu have swimming pools. Other hotels welcome pets and have pet-friendly restaurants.
