Arriving in Nishiizu is simple whether you’re traveling by rail or road. We’ve laid out clear routes and tips to help you make the most of your time, so you can spend less energy on logistics and more on discovering the coast.
From Tokyo:
- Take the Shinkansen to Mishima Station
- Transfer to the Izu Hakone Railway.
- Continue to Shuzenji Station, where buses or taxis provide a direct route to Nishiizu.
From Osaka:
- Take the Shinkansen to Mishima Station
- Transfer to the Izu Hakone Railway and local buses to Nishiizu. Enjoy scenic views of Mount Fuji and Japan’s countryside along the way.
From Shizuoka City:
- Take a local train or bus to Mishima Station.
- From there, transfer to the Izu Hakone Railway and continue to Nishiizu.
From Tokyo:
- Nishiizu is approximately a 2.5-hour drive via the Tomei Expressway and the Izu Skyline.
